This track was partly inspired by this forum thread where atozix suggested that perhaps there were too many difficult obnoxious tracks, and a lack of tracks that were just fun to drive. After thinking about it, I realized that many of my tracks lately had been stupidly hard and that it was time to make something fun, easy, and smooth.
This track also owes a touch of inspiration to Large and Large 2 by spale; both of those tracks demonstrate that it's possible to think very big and work in very broad strokes and create a challenge that's fun (and non-frustrating) to drive.
